Princess Addyson Turns 4!!!!!

Addyson our little 4 year old. Where does time go? I cannot believe that she is 4 already. Although she doesn't act 4 she acts 15! She informed us before her birthday that she didn't want toys all she wanted were clothes and shoes! I am in trouble aren't I! She wanted white sparkely wedding shoes to be exact. We had a good time shopping! We celebrated Addy's birthday on the 29th rather than her realy birthday but she was a trooper to wait. On her birthday her and I just hung out went shopping she picked our a new dress the one in her pics and nail polish and make up. I love having a girl! We let her pick what place she wanted to go to dinner at and her pick was McDonalds. We had a good night and she enjoyed it.

As for her party we had some great company. Grandma and Grandpa Harris, Aunt Alicia, Aunt Meghann, Aunt Cassie, Uncle Wayne and his kids Kylee, Colby, and Bryson, and Aunt Shelly with her kids Madison and Justin all came. Addy just wanted brownie sundays for her birthday cake so I turned it into an Ice Cream cake and it was delightful! I double checked to make sure she didn't want anything fancy and she didn't so went rolled with it. It was so nice not to have to decorate a cake this year. I usually really try my best, I hate buying birthday cakes because I think they are a totaly waste of money but I have been known to cave and buy one. We had a great time and I think she loves all of her new clothes and shoes! She did get a DS game and a Polly Pocket set.

I am so honored to be Addy's Mom. She is such a delight I have never known another child that can make me cry one minuet and laugh the next. Her and I get to spend alot of one on one time together while Ethan is at school, although we don't always see eye to eye we do enjoy our time together. Addy has a very strong personality that will get her far in life, she knows what she wants and doesn't back down. She is older in her mind than her small body! She will watch cartoons, but would much rather watch Hannah Montana or I Carly. I love her so much I love spending time with her I love how she makes me laugh and the way she goes for what she wants! Addy you are our little princess and we love you so so so much!

Baby Update

Okay no baby yet! I really wish she would get here but then again I can wait! I went to the Doctor today I was 2 cm dialated and 60% efaced not much different than 10 days ago! A little disappointing but then again I really would like to get a few more things done before she comes!
So here goes the waiting game!

Our Holidays (The Hanson Way)

Holidays Our Style
We had an awesome holiday season. The Lord blessed us so much and I am so grateful for those blessing in which he gave us each and everyday.
A quick update: Ryan's cellulitis in hi leg is much better. he is still sore from time to time but it looks about 80% better than what it did
So with Ryan on the mend we kicked off our holiday shopping with Dad. Mom and Dad came up and Dad and I had our annual Father Daughter Christmas Shopping Day. Ryan actually joined this year which was fun too. You never know what is going to happen when you take Ryan and Dad shopping together.
After that we had a busy Christmas week getting things ready. Christmas Eve came and we headed out to the Atwoods! They are my second family I love them just as much as my own family. Anyway we went out there and enjoyed their company (and food) for a while but I forgot my camera. They spoiled us and the kids rotten! They have no idea how much they have helped us this year. Well after that it was time to drive back home and get ready for Santa! Mom and Dad came up to spend the night boy were we excited. We love having Grandma and Grandpa here for sleep overs but to have it be Christmas on top of that. Wow! Well we had some more great food and Ryan Made my Dad Sugar Free Bread Pudding with Whisky Sauce. Yummmmy! It is Dads favorite and it is always fun to treat him. Well Dad read the kids the night before Christmas and it was time for bed!
Chirstmas morning didn't start until 8:30 o it was lovely! We had such a good morning Ethan got the games that he wanted and Addy got a DS. She also got gold pants and gold shoes from Grandma and Grandpa! Talk about being in 7th heaven! She loved them!
Well later that evening I went to work and left Ryan to play with the kids. They had a great time. I had to work alot that week so we just stayed close to home. New Years came and we decided to go down to Mom and Dads. Dennis and Alicia came out and we played games and had a really good time.
On our way back just outside Idaho Falls it was about 2:00 in the morning, I looked up and I swear there was a tree in the middle of the road. It wasn't a tree it was a bull elk. Wow he was huge. Ryan was great he missed him barely and we survived. I am so grateful someone was watching us that night cause I am not sure I would have been able to take more car wrecks this year.
Anyway we are grateful to be back in the swing of things and are now focused on School, Work and our little Girl coming soon. The house is in Shambles getting ready for her but I cannot wait for her to come. This pregnancy has been more difficult than the other two, but I am sure it is just cause I am older. I am hoping that I can start labor this time on my own and not have to be induced. I might change my mind once I get closer. Once again the Lord blesses us sooooo much I cannot believe we have been chosen to be parents again. I worry cause I feel like I am starting over, I worry cause I feel incompetent as a parent, I worry about my other children taking on another sibling but all in all I know she is going to come to a loving family and we might have to learn all over together but we will learn and we will have more love in our family than we know what to do with. I feel like she is coming to complete us. I cannot wait to share pictures of her as soon as she arrives.

Enjoy some of our pictures from Chirstmas. We didn't take alot, I jsut get too wrapped up having fun to remember to take pics!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to All

We have one heck of a 2009!

Our little Addyson is almost 4 now. She is such a delight! She loves to be a little girl wear nothing but dresses and have her nails painted. She is getting smarter by the day! I sure enjoy spending the days with her while Ethan is at school.

Ethan is now in 1st grade he is reading like a champ! It amazes me at how smart he really is. I shouldn't say amazes me it scares me really he is just a great kid. He is growing so fast and learning so much I just wish the time would move slower! He loves to play the wii and any game he can think of.

I am working at the hospital in IF as a monitor tech. I work 3 nights a week. It is really nice to be able to get away but boy am I tired all the time. But it is worth that to only have to be away during the night when my children are asleep. I am still doing Photography I have my busy months and my slow months. I have stayed really busy during the holidays so that is really nice. I hope someday I can just do that full time.

Ryan boy o boy has he has a year. My sweet husband was a stay at home Dad for the most part this year. Just as he was getting things lined up to start up his own buisness again (he had several jobs lined up ready to go) he was in a bad accident. That happened in May and he broke his neck in to spots and broke his arm. He was layed up for nearly the entire summer. A neck brace kept him warm durnign to 100 degree weather. The good news about the neck was that he was able to get out of the brace nearly a month early. What a blessing as soon as he got out of the brace we took advantage of the situation. We took a couple of trips to Boise and played our hearts right out. It was alot of fun to celebrate his new freedom. He still hurts and we are told it will take a long time to start to feel better. We take it as is comes. After he broke his neck a realized that being a carpenter full time was not an option and that he needed more time to heal. He decided to return to school and go into the Desiel Program at ISU. We decided that would give him more skills and he would be able to take the time to heal. He has done really well and pulled straight A's for the semester. He did come down with Cellulitis in his leg a couple of weeks ago and has been down and out with IV antibiotics daily. We just got him switched to oral meds today. I hope they stay on top of it and that he is able to heal.

Our biggest news of the year is that we are expecting a baby girl in Feburary around Valentines day. Although we were not expecting her we are sure excited for her to get here. We are so blessed to be able to have her come to us. No name yet but we are working on it!

We know the Lord gives us trials and we know they happen for a reason we have had several trials lately and we know we will be stronger as a family in the end. With those trails have come so many many blessings it is hard to see them sometimes and we do get down but I know that we are loved and that the Lord has a plan for us. This year has strenghtend my testemony of our church so much I have seen the blessings that have been shared with us along with the trials that have brought me closer to the church. I have not been very active for many years and I know that the Lord works in mysterious ways, I have had to rely on the Priesthood that my father has and through his father's blessings I have been able to have the strength that I have needed through the trials that we have faced. I know that we will have blessing beyond compare if we can get through the trials of now.

2010 has to be a better year for us and we are so excited to start it out with the blessing of a new child to come.

We wish all of you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND AN AWESOME 2010!

Health Update

Good news first!
I went to see the Doctor today for my 30 1/2 week appointment. Our little girl is doing well. Seems to be growing and doing fine heart rate today 144! Wow cannot believe she will be here soon! I lost weight from my last appointment 1/2 pound so that was good news for me so total weight gain has been 4 1/2 pounds. Love it although I told my doctor if I gained the typical 30 lbs I would be a whale! So I am very greatful for just 4 1/2 pounds. Due to that no belly pics cause most of the time you really cannot tell I am pregnant! Good for me I suppose!

On to Ryan, so he has been fighting the cellulitis now since Tuesday last week so 6 days. Nothing is getting better but seems to be staying the same. He has been getting some big dog IV antibiotics once a day. He is on Invanz and Cubicin. We went into Dr. Packer today he is new to us. I have met him in the hospital and have been impressed with him he reminds me a little of our Dr. in Pocatello Dr. Holmstead. So I made an appointment with him and got Ryan in there. I was fairly impressed with him. He stepped into this situation not really knowing where the starting point was but we came up with a game plan. We will now not have to deal with the ER docs at all Dr. Packer will follow all Ryan's IV treatments and will follow the progress. I am so relieved to have some one to go to for questions. Ryan is trying to finish finals and get by until Chirstmas break hopefully that will give him some much needed R&R. Dr. Packer says we could be looking at another 2 weeks of Daily treatments which means no traveling for the holidays bummer. I just pray that everything works out ok and we will get through this.

On to Ryans mother. She is in Surgery for her kidneys as I write this. We hope all goes okay. I hope that she will be able to get past all these Kidney issues and will be able to focus on other things and feel better.

We are hoping that 2010 brings better health for us and a healthy Baby Girl! Still no name yet but we have discussed a few and are narrowing it down.

Just Another Bump in Our Road

Okay so I have decided that Ryan and I if we have luck at all it is always bad luck we just have no good luck! To give an update we have been doing well. I am working at the hospital and doing my photography! Ryan has been going to school in Pocatello 5 days a week! He has had perfect attendance and is doing amazing in his courses! Well Monday night he got home from school 5 minuets prior to me needing to leave for work, he was limping pretty bad and I asked him what he had done. He said nothing that I know of. I thought bull crap you did something but you just won't tell me. So he showed me his leg and it was extremely swollen and warm to the touch. I just wasn't sure what to think. I said well it is either a torn ligament or maybe you have some cellulitis in it, I didn't think of a blood clot. Well I had to get to work so I told him try to make it through the night and I will get you into someone in the morning. He agreed. Well about Midnight I got a call from him and he was almost in tears because of the pain. I have only seen Ryan cry because of pain one other time and that was when he broke is neck. So I knew he hurt. I was busy when he called and I told him to hold on let me think for a minuet and I will call you back. Well he called me back and told me he was coming into the ER. His sister (bless he heart) came in to stay with the kids. I met him in the ER and stayed until they took him to ultrasound. I went back upstairs and waited to hear what was going on. Well come to find out he did not have a blood clot but rather cellulitis in his leg. They kept him until I was off work and was able to take him home. He now is going in for daily IV antibiotics for I am not sure how long but I hope they do the trick. Poor guy just can't catch a break it is the week before finals and he had to miss school for two days. The doctor told him not to go back until he was released from him but Ryan is going to try to go tomorrow so that he has a shot and doing well on his final. I can't say I blame him to much. I just don't understand why this has to happen to us! I know what I am sounding like but gosh can't we get a break! The Lord has blessed us and I know that but I am trying to see the good that will come out of our 2009 events, It is really hard to see the good right now. Anyway keep Ryan in your prayers and I hope he recovers fast!

Halloween

It's Halloween!!!!!
We had a great time this Halloween. It was nice it was on a Saturday! So Addyson wanted to be a princess for halloween this year and I went to buy her a princess costume and I refused to pay $30 or more for a piece of crap dress so I took her to JoAnn's Fabric sat her down with a pattern book and said pick what princess you want to be and we will get you the stuff and I will sew it. Well after 1 1/2 hours looking at patterns she decided to be a Cheeleader. We had a lot of fun witht his outfit. It turned out great it actually looks like a real cheerleader. I had alot of fun making it too. I might just make more! She decided she wanted to be an Idaho Falls Tiger Cheerleader, gotta get that Tiger spirit in early.
Ethan wanted to be a skeleton. His costume was a lot cuter in my head. I made is too because it is really hard to buy a costume that will fit him. I just go some sweats and did the bones out of felt. It turned out pretty good. I painted the bones with glow in the dark paint also. He really got into scaring people. What a cute little Skeleton.
Well Halloween came and we decided it was worth the drive to Pocatello/Am. Falls to see the fam. We stopped and saw Aunt Meghann first, then went over to Fred Meyer and saw Aunt Cassie, then off to the Maravilla's. It was so nice Raquel and her Boyfriend took the kids Trick or Treating for us. I cannot tell you how nice that was. Ryan and I got to sit and visit for a while it was so wonderful. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family that we can sit around and visit for hours with and not realize a minuet even went by.
After the Maravilla's we headed out to see Mom and Dad. It was about 8:30 already late but we were all ready to party. The kids were so excited to show Grandpa and Grammy their costumes. Dennis and Alicia were out there waiting also and Uncle Mac came out to say hello too. Mom had dinner for us and we stayed and played the longest game of hand and foot ever with Dennis and Alicia. We had such a great time again so thankful for wonderful family. We left and got home about 1:30 in the morning. We were so tired but it was so worth the fun that we had. Thanks everyone for spoiling the children rotten! They LOVE YOU ALL!
